Is AnyGen Legit? AnyGen Peptide Brand Review
Is AnyGen legit? The name now leads somewhere else. On September 29, 2026 the secure address https://anygen.com did not answer within 40 seconds, and the plain http address redirected to hlbpep.co.kr, the site of HLB PEP CO., LTD. in Korea. That site's own history page says the company was established as ANYGEN CO., LTD. in 2000, and its menu still carries the anygen label. We report what the site shows; the conclusion is yours.
AnyGen is not ranked by this review; the home board sorts paid listings by bid and nothing else.
What anygen.com publishes today (checked September 29, 2026)
In short: the AnyGen domain forwards to HLB PEP, a Korean peptide manufacturer with a Gwangju address, phone and fax lines, a history of drug-ingredient approvals, GMP certificates listed for two plants, and a catalogue of about 1,000 research peptides ordered by quotation. No consumer policies, certificates of analysis or retail prices appeared. The detail, page by page:
| Item | What we saw | Page |
|---|---|---|
| Research-use statement | The catalogue is described as “research-use peptides”. The company also makes peptide drug ingredients (APIs) under GMP for pharmaceutical customers. | HLB PEP English home page |
| Certificates or testing page | No per-lot certificates on the pages we loaded. The history page lists company certificates: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GMP compliance for plants at Jangseong and Osong, and a foreign drug manufacturer accreditation. It offers HPLC and MALDI-TOF analysis as a service. | Brief History, Certification; home page |
| Named testing lab | None named; analysis is in-house. | Home page |
| Contact route | +82-62-714-1166, fax +82-62-714-1188, an online inquiry form, and a quotation and order form with an order status page. | Home footer, Quotation and Order |

Put simply, AnyGen today means HLB PEP, a listed Korean manufacturer with regulatory milestones and plant certificates on record. It sells by quotation to research and pharmaceutical customers, so the useful paperwork, lot data and terms, comes with the quote rather than from the website.
Reading the public signals
The strongest signals are regulatory and corporate. The history page lists product licences from Korea's drug regulator, a drug master file filed with the US FDA for one ingredient, a Japanese foreign manufacturer approval and a stock market listing. Those are records a buyer can look up with the named bodies, not claims that rest on the website alone.
The retail layer is absent. There are no prices, no cart, no certificate library, and no shipping or refund terms on the pages we loaded; ordering runs through a quotation form. For a lab that is normal practice, and it means terms must be agreed per order.
The rename matters for anyone searching the old name. A seller today calling itself AnyGen, on any address other than one that forwards to HLB PEP, is not the company described here.
Applying the checks to AnyGen (HLB PEP)
- Confirm the redirect yourself. Load anygen.com and check it lands on hlbpep.co.kr before trusting any page using the AnyGen name.
- Get terms with the quote. Ask for delivery, payment and return terms in the formal quotation, since none are published.
- Ask for the lot's analysis. Request the HPLC and mass spectrometry data for the exact lot you will receive.
- Check the certificates at source. The history page lists GMP and ISO certificates; ask for copies and confirm them with the issuing bodies.
For reading the analysis data that should come with a quotation, see our peptide COA guide.
FAQ
Is AnyGen legit?
We do not issue that verdict. On September 29, 2026 anygen.com redirected to hlbpep.co.kr, the site of HLB PEP CO., LTD. in Gwangju, Korea, which says it was founded as ANYGEN CO., LTD. in 2000. It lists GMP and ISO certificates and drug-ingredient approvals, and sells by quotation.
Does AnyGen publish third party testing?
Not on the pages we loaded. HLB PEP lists company certificates such as GMP compliance and ISO 9001 and offers in-house HPLC and MALDI-TOF analysis, but no per-lot certificates or outside lab appear. Ask for the lot's analysis data with your quotation.
Is AnyGen ranked on the BestPeptideBrand board?
No. The board is paid placement ordered by bid, and this review of the AnyGen name and its HLB PEP site gives it no position there.
