Is ProSpec Legit? ProSpec Peptide Brand Review
Is ProSpec legit? ProSpec is a recombinant protein manufacturer first and a peptide supplier only in passing. On September 29, 2026 prospecbio.com described an Israeli company, ProSpec-Tany TechnoGene Ltd., selling cytokines, growth factors, antibodies and some peptides to laboratories worldwide, shipped by courier from its headquarters. Its FAQ is unusually frank about what it does not provide, including certificates of analysis. We set out what it publishes; the conclusion is yours.
ProSpec is not ranked by this review; the home board lists paid entries by bid and nothing more.

In short: a named Israeli company with a Rehovot headquarters, an Israeli postal box and a US postal box, phone and fax lines, research-only terms under Israeli law, a courier fee table, a 10 day claims window, and a stated policy of supplying product data sheets rather than certificates. Put simply, ProSpec is an identifiable overseas manufacturer with written business terms, and it tells buyers directly that it issues no certificates of analysis and works outside GMP and ISO systems. Those admissions are useful: they tell a lab exactly what it will have to verify itself.
Reading the public signals
The corporate record is solid: a limited company name, a street headquarters in a science park, a founder with a documented research history, a published fee table and terms that name the governing law. The US presence is a postal box and a toll free number, so the business a US buyer deals with is the Israeli company.
The testing record is the opposite of a retail peptide store's. There are no certificates by design; the product data sheet is the specification, and the FAQ repeatedly suggests buying the smallest vial, which it says usually costs $50, to test activity yourself. For an academic lab that is a known way of working; for anyone expecting a lot-specific certificate it is a clear mismatch.
The windows are tight and start from export, not delivery: 10 days to raise any claim, and returns only if the parcel arrived within 3 days. Customs delays count against the buyer, so a lab should plan for receipt and inspection promptly.
Applying the checks to ProSpec
- Read the data sheet as the specification. Download the data sheet for the exact catalogue number and check whether it includes a biological activity section; if not, activity and endotoxin were not assessed.
- Plan your own verification. Since ProSpec issues no certificate, arrange in-house or outside analysis before relying on a vial.
- Count from export. Claims close 10 days after export, so inspect on arrival and email [email protected] at once if anything is wrong.
- Confirm the invoicing entity. The invoice should name ProSpec-Tany TechnoGene Ltd.; check that payment details match those the company publishes before sending money.
Our peptide COA guide explains what a certificate normally shows, which is the gap a buyer must fill when a supplier issues only a data sheet.
FAQ
Is ProSpec legit?
We do not issue that verdict. On September 29, 2026 prospecbio.com named ProSpec-Tany TechnoGene Ltd. with a Rehovot, Israel headquarters, published research-only terms under Israeli law and a courier fee table. Its FAQ states that it supplies data sheets rather than certificates and does not work under GMP or ISO rules.
Does ProSpec publish third party testing?
No. Its FAQ says it does not supply certificates of analysis, only a product data sheet, and names no outside lab. Where a data sheet lacks a biological activity section, the FAQ says activity and endotoxin were not assessed, so a lab should plan its own checks.
Is ProSpec ranked on the BestPeptideBrand board?
No rank comes from this page. The board is paid placement ordered by bid only, and a protein maker such as ProSpec would appear there only by placing a bid.
