Is PeptaNova Legit? PeptaNova Peptide Brand Review

Is PeptaNova legit? PeptaNova is a European distributor for Peptide Institute, Inc. of Japan, selling biologically active peptides, enzyme substrates and inhibitors and peptide antisera to laboratories. On September 29, 2026 peptanova.de stated in English and German that it does not sell to private individuals. We record what it publishes; the conclusion is yours.

The direct answer from its own pages: PeptaNova is a registered German company, PeptaNova GmbH, with a street address in Sandhausen, a named managing director, a Mannheim trade register entry, a VAT number and a phone line, as German law requires in a site imprint. It sells to business customers and universities only, for experimental use and not for use in humans, on net 30 day terms with returns only by prior written authorisation. It publishes a purity criteria table rather than lot certificates, and several information pages carry dates from 2014 and 2015.

PeptaNova earns no rank from this page; the home board follows bids and nothing else.

In plain sentences, peptanova.de publishes the full legal identity a German company must show: registered name, street address, managing director, court register number and VAT ID, plus a registered trade mark. It is equally clear about who can buy, which is businesses and universities only, and on what terms, net 30 days with written authorisation for any return. It does not post batch certificates, and its information pages look little changed since 2014 and 2015, so current terms are best confirmed with the company.

Reading the public signals

The imprint is the strongest signal. Under German law a commercial site must name its operator, address, representative and register entry, and PeptaNova's does, down to the Mannheim court register number. That gives any buyer a record to check in the German company register and a named person responsible for the content.

The second signal is the refusal to sell to consumers, stated twice and in two languages. For a peptide shopper it means PeptaNova is not an option for personal orders, and a seller offering its products to individuals would be acting outside what the company says it does.

The limits are about evidence and freshness. Purity is described as a set of criteria by series rather than per-lot certificates, the testing is the supplier's own, and the dates on the delivery, ordering and revocation pages run from 2014 to 2015. None of that is unusual for a distributor's static pages, but a lab ordering today should ask for the lot's analytical data and current terms.

Applying the checks to PeptaNova

For how to read a supplier's data sheet against the lot you receive, see our peptide COA guide.

Two details a lab buyer should read closely

The first is payment. The general information page says terms are net 30 days, but the current terms and conditions say payment terms are whatever the order confirmation or invoice states and, where none is stated, payment is due immediately on the invoice date. The terms also say that automatic webshop emails and order receipts only confirm receipt and are not acceptance of the order. A lab that relies on 30 day credit should make sure the confirmation says so.

The second is the grade letter. PeptaNova, following Peptide Institute, labels its 3000 series with grades that describe how much impurity thin-layer chromatography and HPLC can detect, and warns that grade A-B items can slide to grade B within a year even when kept cold. For planning, that means the grade printed at purchase is a starting point, and older stock in a freezer may no longer meet it.

FAQ

Is PeptaNova legit?

We do not issue that verdict. On September 29, 2026 peptanova.de named PeptaNova GmbH at Keplerstr. 26, Sandhausen, Germany, with a managing director, a Mannheim trade register number, a VAT ID and a phone number. It sells Peptide Institute products to businesses and universities only, not to private individuals.

Does PeptaNova publish third party testing?

No. Its general information page says products are tested by its quality control department against purity criteria listed by product series, and that products come from Peptide Institute, Inc. in Japan. No outside lab or lot certificate is published; ask for the analytical data for your lot.

Is PeptaNova ranked on the BestPeptideBrand board?

No position follows from this review. The board is paid placement ordered by bid, and a German trade-only distributor is not placed on it by anything here.
